They're real. And they're extraordinary.



Please just don't get us started on Oreos. We have such a tight-knit closeness with this cookie—Oreo Truffles, Oreo Chip Cookies, Oreo Cheesecake Bites—that it's starting to get uncomfortable. (We also have an amazing name for our string of Oreo desserts...it cuts straight to the heart of our obsession.)



But when a new Oreo flavor hits stores, we FREAK OUT. And this year, there's been no shortage of new releases: This year alone, we've seen apple pie, pumpkin spice, PEEPS-flavored, toasted coconut, brownie batter, and cinnamon bun flavor. To be fair, there are so many new flavors that we wonder which ones are actually real and which are just a figment of the internet. (Take this quiz to see if you can tell the real from the fake.)



Today, however, is a good day, and you heard it here first: One of our editors spotted THESE amazing cookies in a Target in Kansas. They're Chocolate Strawberry Oreos. And they are very real.

They're chocolate cream that surrounds a strawberry center—like a chocolate-covered strawberry. They have an overwhelming strawberry smell when you first open the package, but the flavor of the cookie is perfectly balanced. It's just the right mix of strawberry and chocolate.
