UPDATED: Mariah Carey’s Mariah’s World series premiere averaged 527k adults 18-49 and 843k total viewers on E! and 689k in 18-49 with 1.3MM total viewers on sister network Bravo, which simulcast the debut episode. In total, the opener pulled in 2.2 million total viewers across E! and Bravo, 1.2 million in adults 18-49.
Combined, the series ranked among the top five ad-supported cable series on Sunday night among adults 18-49 (1.2M), women 18-49 (904k), adults 18-34 (594k) and women 18-34 (442k), according to Nielsen. It also delivered nearly 3M social engagements, ranking among the five most social premieres in E! history.
The eight-part event features exclusive access inside the singer-songwriter’s private life. Throughout the season, viewers will follow Carey as she embarks on her first world tour in more than a decade, as well as going inside the superstar’s inner circle and complicated personal relationships.
Mariah’s World is produced by Bunim/Murray productions in association with Magic Carpet Productions. Gil Goldschein, Jeff Jenkins, Farnaz Farjam and Chris Ray are executive producers for Bunim/Murray Productions. Carey and Stella Bulochnikov serve as EPs.
New episodes of Mariah’s World air 9 PM Sundays on E! The series also airs globally on E!’s 15 international channels across North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Africa and Latin America.
