Oakland Raiders punter Marquette King has a knack for finding the spotlight, and now he's doing so in connection to reality TV/social media star Kim Kardashian.
Popular sports rumor blogger Terez Owens claimed on Friday that Kardashian is having an affair with King outside of her marriage with rap mogul Kanye West.
Earlier this week, The Sun reported that Kardashian plans to divorce Kanye "when the time is right." Kanye was recently hospitalized after suffering a mental breakdown and his marriage with Kardashian is reportedly strained.
It's not hard to see how King could have caught Kardashian's eye, considering his rise to prominence with the surging Raiders. Almost everything he does goes viral, as he is the antithesis of everything traditional when it comes to NFL punters.
King has a beef with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, stemming from an on-field confrontation on Thursday night. Shortly after the game, a 21-13 loss for the Raiders, King took a shot at Kelce on social media for his The Bachelor-style reality TV show called Catching Kelce. The irony of that barb is that King is now allegedly seeing a reality TV star himself.
Others who have been in relationships with Kardashian — not just Kanye — have sunk to very concerning lows. Raiders fans better hope their favorite punter isn't headed for a similar fate.
