The 1992 Grammys. The tie was for the Best R&B Vocal Performance Female. That was an extremely rare moment that will go down in the history of the grammys that we just don't see anymore. Wow they both had a tie a tie now that's rare. |

I wonder how they both felt about it. I like that they each were respectful to one another, whether or not they may have agreed with the tie.

I wonder how they both felt about it. I like that they each were respectful to one another, whether or not they may have agreed with the tie. Well let's look at it this away in today's generation you couldn't do that with Artist like Beyonce, Adele or Rihanna because somebody will have something to say whether one buys her awards or not. It was good to see the Legendary Ms Patti Labelle recieve her grammy even if it was tied with Lisa Fischer someone who is of equal talent. Even though Lisa didn't have much of a career afterwards it was good to see her recieve her first grammy with Patti. Cause these artist today don't have an ounce of vocal talent those two women possessed. Because we all know those two will blow today's female singer's out of the water vocally. |
