Rolling Stone Lists Rihanna's 'ANTi' As #1 On List of "20 Most Anticipated Pop Albums of 2016" 1. Rihanna - ANTi Rihanna came out guns blazing in January 2015, mentioning that her long-awaited follow-up to 2012's Unapologetic was on the way, executive produced by none other than Kanye West. But after a few singles, including the acoustic "FourFiveSeconds " with West and Paul McCartney, and the R&B radio hit "Bitch Better Have My Money," the campaign seemed to go quiet. The title and cover of Rihanna's 8th album, Anti, was finally unveiled in November, and her Samsung app ANTIdiaRy has been teasing fans with cryptic hints — but 2016 has so far begun with no new single or release date. "To me it's never done until it's done," Rihanna said of the album in September. Imma be honest my hype for Rih's album is kinda gone. Love her but there are other projects I'm looking forward to. As a fan I'm still gonna support tho

Imma be honest my hype for Rih's album is kinda gone. Love her but there are other projects I'm looking forward to. As a fan I'm still gonna support tho That's IF its worth it Took the words out of my mouth. I'm kind of over it. I do think she waited a bit too long but maybe its because I'm impatient. |

Took the words out of my mouth. I'm kind of over it. I do think she waited a bit too long but maybe its because I'm impatient. its been like 4 years...come on that's time enough. I mean I respect that she is trying to make something great, but damn girl all this promo and nothing. The game was cool, but its taking way to damn long. Its past being impatient...bish put the damn album out already geez It's been four years though? It should've came out either now or the fall. I'm really curious to see what direction she's going with this album musically. I'm not going to lie, I side eyed her a bit when she said she wanted to go a more mature route and create a classic album....but then she puts out BBHMM which I loved but girl really? :what??: AO was a better fit for what she was going for. I just hope we don't make it to spring without an album. |

I kinda understood when she said that because she was doing the kids movies and I kinda figured she would want this album to be more critically acclaimed. Then seeing the artwork for the album cover I was like ok this is def gonna be some artistry shit. Which I'm not mad at cuz I'm all about the art. Its just the dragging and prolonging of the process. I'm tired of seeing pics of this heffa leaving a studio and we still aint got shit I think the singles she release were just to hold us off. I mean she has had a formula for the last couple albums. And the singles did good, but they didn't stick. She does have a Diamonds or We Found Love this era...maybe she wants it that way who knows, but she is going in a different direction |

I didn't like AO. Didn't like FFS. BBHMM was good, but not single material.
I think she waited too long. I like Rih, but as I said before she seems like the type of artist that can't take a long break...I might be wrong, but this album might not be a huge hit.

I'm ready for this album to drop but I can see that it might be a while. There were rumors that she might have a makeup/skin care line coming out and I definitely want to try that out. If that drops first I'll forgive ha lol I doubt it since she has a tour coming up

The album artwork is very different, but I am worried she might come off as "fake deep" if she's trying to dabble into that. I'm hoping it is a cohesive album. I have to agree that the hype is virtually gone. The only people talking about the existence (or non-existence) of it constantly are NAVY fan accounts now. Before it was mainstream outlets and people who do not identify as Rihanna fans/stans. Imma be honest my hype for Rih's album is kinda gone. She's killing/killed the hype by having all these new projects come out while playing hide-and-seek with the possibility of this new album. That gets old fast, whether you are Michael Jackson or Beyonce. I'm ready for this album to drop but I can see that it might be a while. There were rumors that she might have a makeup/skin care line coming out and I definitely want to try that out. If that drops first I'll forgive ha lol I doubt it since she has a tour coming up She has a skin care line coming out, but no album..............  She needs to establish whether she is a mogul/socialite or a singer, because this is also getting confusing. Those rumors about problems with the studio and this being her last album before she is a free agent must be true.  One thing I'm going to need old girl to work on is consistency with stage presence. In some performances, she's almost phenomenal. In others (usually provate performances or tours) she is very lackluster and relies on p*ssy patting too much. |
