Reminds me of Terry Schivo (sp), her husband couldn't wait to kill her (pull the plug) even though her family wanted to take over her care. i can't say I know of any men who divorced their sick wives, just have heard of them mistreating them while ill. I wonder if race was taken into account. I should read the article. I put race into it because sometimes in these studies they find there is a difference. Example when it comes to domestic violence white people are more likely to be abusive to elderly people while other races are not, but black women are more likely to be victims of intimate partner violence than their white counterparts (I think 3x as likely)...sorry that was a tangent lol.

So this study is flawed, in that they don't know who initiated the divorce. That should have been accounted for, but I guess that would have been he said she said.
