Does anyone else think they still don't look natural when put in half up styles or in ponytails? They ponytails are always so loose and sloppy looking, and that's not how I do my hair. My ponys whether half up or full up are sleek and tight (but not tight enough to damage my hair or edges). When I see women with loose ponys like that I assume they have a weave or wig on.
What do you all think?
Should I post some vids to show you?

It is really diffcult to find or make most wigs/weaves look natural, especially when it comes to updos. I saw a video last night of a girl making her own wig and she put it in some updos. First time I saw one that didn't look so obvious it was fake! Here's the video

In these videos it just looks bulky. It's not neat an smooth, maybe it's just me. I was thinking about doing this as a protective style, but idk.

That's the common issue is the bulkiness, it seems. I've only had a weave once and it wasn't a style you could put up into a ponytail. Do you do your own hair? I'll like to look into making my own wigs but I'm a bit scared to.

I'll like to look into making my own wigs but I'm a bit scared to. I've had a weave 4x in my life. All were styles that did not allow for ponytails, so it was okay. I don't do my own hair when it comes to weaves. I can do faux locs myself, but I don't because it's very time consuming. I did it once. I have done quick weaves and wigs before. For the wigs I've used a weave cap and just glued the tracks on like that. I might do that again. I kinda want braids though. |
