I've heard Rihanna really sing. I don't get why she doesn't do it on a consistent basis or why her fans pay for this kind of shit, honestly.

Welp. She tried I guess. She should just stick to modeling to be honest. People say it about Ciara but what about her? Rih has a pretty good catalog as a singles artist but it seems like she's not improving. I couldn't give a damn that she can't dance if only she would improve her vocals. At least!
Yeah same majesty. I thought she was either high or drunk. I hate when she takes the mic away from her mouth because she doesn't want to hit the note. She's been at this for like ten years.

I feel she has evolved vocally, but she's not a powerhouse vocalist so she can only evolve so much. Listen to her first album and first single and compare that to say "stay". This performance was horrible, but she's had some decent ones in the past.

I try to remember to find videos later and post them. I remember watching her on some awards show and thinking "wow she's been seeing a vocal coach."

I don't think its even about her being a powerhouse vocalist though. That's just not her voice and I think many realize that. Even after years of training, she still hasn't really improved. Her voice is still shaky and it seems she's kind of shy with her voice. I've noticed a lot of performances where she sometimes doesn't hit the notes I know she can hit if only she'd be a bit more confident. Her AMA performance from last year was way better than this.
