From July 2016 but still messy.
I guess as long as his old ass name is on the birth certificate, it don't matta. What say you?
Singer Lionel Richie has done a U-turn and says he is now planning to have more children at the age of 67.
The American dad-of-three claimed earlier this year that having more kids “would probably kill” him .
Now the crooner has had a change of heart, thanks to his blossoming relationship with his girlfriend-of-four-years Swiss-Chinese former model Lisa Parigi, who is in her thirties.
He told the Mirror: “I’m willing to become a father again. I might have just let a secret slip there, but so be it - Lisa and I are cool with the idea of children. Marriage, on the other hand, is a very different issue, it’s a bad idea for men.
“I’ve been there twice and it was very expensive for me. I’ve no idea to go there a third time - women have killed it for me. Kids aren’t the problem - ex-wives are. That’s why I won’t marry again, but I’m happy to commit in other ways.”
Twice-divorced Lionel, who is worth an estimated £200million, has three grown-up children - adopted daughter US reality star Nicole, from his first marriage to college sweetheart Brenda Harvey, and Miles, 21, and Sofia, 17, from his second marriage to Diane Alexander.
It comes after he previously drew a line under being a dad. Speaking about Rolling Stones Ronnie Wood expecting twins at 68 six months ago he said: “Of course, Ronnie Wood can have children he’s a Rolling Stone, he can defy the laws of gravity. It would probably kill me.
“But I really can’t see myself having any more children. I have enough. I’ve turned a corner.
Girlfriend Lisa has insisted she is happy with their relationship as it is. Speaking at Lionel’s Still exhibition with photographer photographer Alan Silfen she revealed: “Lionel has been there twice and it was definitely a tough for him. I don’t need a ring to validate my relationship with him. What we already have is enough.
“So many people need marriage to validate a relationship, but I’m not one of them. Lionel doesn’t owe me anything.”
Lisa added that she loved joining Lionel touring the world with his music. She said: “Some girlfriends would get bored travelling the world, staying in hotels. But Lionel and I always take the same candles, pillows and flowers so that we always feel at home wherever we go. That’s the secret to feeling based.”
