I found some of my past relatives/great(-great-great-great) grandparents through the FindAGrave site by accident from my grandmother's paternal side! It's crazy to think about but almost all of the men in my family are veterans, and one of them (I think my great grandfather's great grandfather) fought in the Civil War! Crazy shit! Unfortunately I could only go as far back as 1850 through the paternal side. Many of the women who married into the family did not have a traceable family history through FindAGrave.
