Yeah I heard about that. They did him dirty. That's not even enough time to give him to find a new job. I really do hope Alfred finds something. I wonder why they chose to kill off Wes. Apparently they chose who they were going to kill off pretty late.

Billy Brown is utterly and completely useless on the show. At first, I liked the eye candy but its annoying now. He serves no real purpose. It's the same thing with him and Viola. Hell, Viola carries the scenes.

I really hope this show doesn't go downhill. I may not care that Wes is gone, and I don't think he was a central character (to me, Annalise is the only central character), but I am beginning to wonder how they will spin this or if this was just a bad case of crappy writing? We shall see..

S/N: I'm tired of ABC/Shondaland and these damn Winter/Summer breaks. It would be nice if we could just have straight seasons without those weird breaks in between.

I don't want the show to go downhill but even I have to admit my interest is waning a bit and Annalise is getting on my nerves. Hell, all the characters are getting on my nerves. My problem with HTGAWM is there.is.no.character.growth. All of them are the same from season 1. Same situations, same everything. I want a change of pace and plot in this next half. And they need to break a lot of people off and have them be single. What is it with everyone dating/fucking each other? I know they're close but that's too damn close. Keep Connor and Oliver apart and have Oliver serve a bit more purpose. Same with Michaela. Give her SOMETHING. Damn. She's becoming as useless as Nate. Change Asher's personality a bit. I find it hard to believe he hasn't changed just a little bit with all the things those students have gone through. I can't buy into his relationship with Michaela either. Kill Laurel off please. I like Bonnie and White Jidenna.

Wes was a central character to me seeing as how they spent a lot of time on him, his background and his relationship with Viola. Mostly everything they went through went back to him; His mother, Rebecca, killing Sam, the cases, etc. That's why I didn't understand why Annalise blamed Frank for everything. She should've blamed Wes imo.

I'm tired of these breaks too. Shonda loves messing with everyone's emotions, doesn't she?

I don't know what they have in mind for Anna Mae..She's back on the bottle already (which irritated me too!), has a bunch of lovers (that do not make any sense whatsoever), her fill-in son possibly ratted her out and is now dead, and the rest of the kids treat her like shit. The only relationship in this series that makes sense to me is the Anna Mae-Bonnie-Frank sociopath love-in, but Schmurda and Mae kissing really threw me for a loop, and I'm honestly not here for it. I would not have minded the college Dean hooking up with Anna if there has to be another lesbian coupling. They have more chemistry than Eve/Anna in my opinion.

Now to respond to the stuff in your first post..

I dislike most of the characters on this show - some more than others. I would like to like Meggy but they are using her as a baby daddy drama prop, and her hugging on Laurel was a no-no. I understand that she has to do her job and save lives whether she likes the person or not, but taking that extra step and crying with Poor Laurel, the bish who is probably responsible for your ex's death? Doing too much. I still dislike Michaela, but not as much as I did in seasons 1 and 2. Asher's annoying goofy ass has gotten her to lighten up a bit, but him inviting her "mama" over is straight bullshit and I would cut him off for some shit like that.

(I don't like that Asher is trying to adopt Michaela and her family just because he doesn't have one. He's too selfish to listen to her all the times she said she wasn't close to her adopted family and didn't want to get into her biological parents. He's insensitive af.)

They need to change all the characters - a complete 360. I don't know if it is because these shows have so many writers for all the different episodes, but ABC/Shondaland/Pete is going to have to fix this and get back to a smaller team of writer's because nothing is making sense. All these guest writers clearly have different ideas, and it shows in each new episode in a bad way.

I agree with you that the ONLY relationships that make sense and are still relatively sane is the murder love triangle of Bonnie/Frank/AnnaMae. And even that love triangle is getting messed up and convoluted. I don't even know how I feel about Frank and Bonnie...but Bonnie and Annalise?! They ALWAYS had a mother daughter relationship to me. What was the point of that kiss? (Peter?!). I really don't want Bonnie and Annalise to have a romantic relationship, especially after Bonnie jumped into Frank's bed. Bonnie and Frank, I've been confused about them for a long time. In the beginning, I always felt they had slight chemistry and the potential for something there but they also had this brother and sister relationship under "mama" Annalise. They're relationship has always been ambiguous and confusing and I kind of want it to stay that way. They can flirt around the line and toe it but I don't want them to actually cross it, as they already have. I wish Bonnie would've had a love interest...some semblance of normalcy. I want Frank to have other ventures outside of Annalise and her house of horrors. Maybe he can work with someone else. I don't know.

I don't even get why Laurel was crying. I still think she's acting and she's not in love with Wes although in some ways, they've been building it up since Season 1. I don't like Michaela. She is the embodiment of bitter black woman. I swear I never see that girl even remotely happy. I understand she's had a rough life, ended an engagement, etc but there has to be upside to her life. Something more to her life, to her character. I thought her relationship with Asher would bring this change but it hasn't, rendering their relationship useless and what development they could've had. Asher had no right to give the mother the address. He should've stayed his ass out of it and understood Michaela's feelings on the issue. He wasn't empathetic enough and was in too much of a rush to get close to Michaela. And what about him? You're prying into her life, why not spill some of your own secrets?

Im going to need this saga of Connor and Oliver to END. I don't mind Oliver being on there although he's still useless to me but they need both characters to live separate lives from this moment on. I think all the characters need to break away from each other a little bit and show them having different interests, people, lives, etc. And you hit the nail on the head. This season has been proof that they're current format just isn't working. They need to get a small group of writers and call it a day.
