I am really bad at eating healthy. Most of the time other people cook for me (lol) so I don't exactly "choose" what I eat. I'd like to eat healthier but it is so friggin expensive. I'm mostly doing this because I'm fed up with my health which is grade C-- at best. I'm dehydrated among other things, and am going to the doctor soon. Hopefully my new doc will have some tips, but I wanted to ask you guys for some help first.

Water, water, water. Always drinking water and when I want a little bit of flavor, I add some fruit. I have those filters in my water bottles where I can put the fruit. I give myself one cheat day a week where I can really eat junk food and limit myself to one small sweet a day. I can't really eat more than that anyways due to my own health issues. I'm trying to cut soda out of my life completely but it's so hard. And honestly, just eating a balanced meal of fruits, veggies, meat (not too much though, I limit that the most and no red meat or anything besides well done). I admit I don't really like dairy since my body has a negative reaction to it so I stick to almond week a few days of the week. I eat in small portions, don't really eat big meals but instead smaller meals throughout the day. I'm always snacking and always have small snacks on me to keep me fed and refreshed. I don't even understand why people eat such big meals. I get hungrier faster when I do that. Eating healthy really is expensive. It sucks.

I really need to do better because I drink water maybe once a day in extremely small portions. My situation right now doesn't agree with eating right, which sounds weird but it's true. I started buying some Boost drinks to at least get me started for breakfast, but I can't drink those too much because they have a lot of sugar, which sucks balls.

Yeah, you definitely need to start drinking more water. Just carry a big water bottle with you. It's fine if you can't eat completely healthy right now. You could always change things like using less oil, etc. Look up healthy recipes. Also, drink a lot of ginger. Ginger with lemon. Get some natural ginger and chop it up, boil it in water and voila. Squeeze in some lemon for added flavor. It was a good detox. I'll ask my mother for more healthy natural remedies.

Please do! I need to buy some lemons. Might have to go on to the store later today and try my best to avoid chips and Starbucks drinks.
