Isn't this on HBO? I don't have premium channels so I can't really tune in and I don't want to pirate it because it's Issa :/
She did post this video..
..but that's only to play catch-up, I think.

Yeah its free on HBO for the entire season. Also, you can watch it on couchtuner.ch. I still think you can support Issa in other ways

I haven't made it past E2 of season 7 and even then I was skipping a lot of shit. I'm beyond pissed. I'm confused. Who thought that hit was okay.
I lead you ranted about it in another thread so I won't derail lol!
Binge watched 5 episodes on insecure and the show is okay! Haven't really laughed (or giggled) as much as I did with Awkward Black Girl but it is till a cute show! Wish it was longer because I start getting invested into the episodes near the end.

Haha it's perfectly fine.
There was seven episodes this season, no? Or was it ten. Yeah, some episodes are funnier than others. There aren't really funny episodes, just certain scenes that are kind of funny. I don't think the show is that comical but it certainly is relatable. I wish it was longer too! Forty five minutes would be nice. What do you think of Lawrence/Issa and their overall relationship. I'm actually switching my fave character from Issa to Molly. Seems like Molly will end up being more aware than Issa in season 2.

I think it was eight episodes for season one. The show is listed as a comedy when it should be a drama, but I understand why HBO/Issa chose to market it that way. Just got done watching some reviews by Alexander Rodgers and he is hilarious. Always dead on the money with TV shows. I'm going to resume watching the rest of the season later today, but from what I have seen, I'm really....disappointed in Issa. She should not have cheated with Daniel (is that his name?) at all. If she wanted to get loosey goosey, freak nasty she should have broken up with Lawrence (for real!) first. Besides, Lawrence turned down that cute bank teller because he loves his girl. I read it online and I agree that Lawrence is probably battling depression and that's never easy, but I feel he needs to step up to the plate in terms of communication. He never once told Issa why he was walking around in sweats, why he wanted Netflix and chill (ON HER BIRTHDAY), etc. etc. Choosing to not celebrate your longterm partner's birthday is trash and deserves second-guessing, but I still think he needs to talk about whatever he's going through. Oh and Issa needs to stop being so damn Insecure, lol! She's a mess. I think Molly is my favorite too. She has a myriad of issues but I think hers are easier to manage than Issa's. And speaking of which, she need to do right by Rent-A-Boo!! Especially after the shit Classic Man dropped on her at the party! What do you think of Molly and her relationships? (P.S. Imma need some extra ladies on the show, even if it's just one! Maybe like a shy character who has issues with dating because she can't talk lol! Shy heauxs need representation too!)

Imma need some extra ladies on the show, even if it's just one! Maybe like a shy character who has issues with dating because she can't talk lol! Shy heauxs need representation too!) My theory is that she never really wanted Lawrence. She settled for him. Daniel was the high school/college(?) crush that got away and since he was out of the picture, she settled with her second choice. I think she was secretly always waiting for Daniel to come back. Issa used Lawrence's behavior as a justification for her actions because even she knew she was wrong. I also agree with others who have said that the only reason Issa stayed with Lawrence throughout the five years was because she didn't want to be single and go through the struggle Molly was and is still going through. The relationship became comfortable. Issa needs to learn what she wants and grow a backbone to go after it. If she really wanted Daniel and was fed up with her relationship with 'Rence, she should've broken things off with him. And now she doesn't want Daniel so what does she really want?
I agree. It's not an easy subject matter but after five years, I'd expect you'd at least try and make your partner to understand or confide in them. How did Issa not notice? Five years and you don't realize something is up beyond that of unemployment? But I have to give kudos to Lawrence to receiving his wake up call and trying harder for Issa.
At least now she's more understanding of her issues and is seemingly willing to go about managing them. Issa is still so unaware. She was talking about ole girl needing therapy. Girl what about you? Issa needs to figure out her life too. Molly needs to be singgleeeeee. I don't like how she treated the Asian dude or the bi one. Classic Man was on some real shit though.
Yeah...more diverse characters. I kind of like Natasha's character on the show (the big one...I forgot her characters name) but they still seem stereotypical. You've got the loud friend and the bougie one. I agree, we need a shy character. One that is a mixture of all different types, not just one stereotype.

Finally finished the season, and that last episode...whew!!! I knew Issa should have waited until Monday to go back to the apartment when she invited Lawrence there. I felt like she should have just enjoyed the time with her girls and gave him some space instead of rushing back at 2 AM, but little did I know...Ole boy gave her the deuces for real! AND he screwed around with Big Tittay Tasha (I love that nickname, lol). Whoever Lawrence has a serious relationship with next will become his wife. He got practice with Issa (and his heart broken). If it's not the next girl, it will be the one after her. Maybe it will be Tasha, who knows? She gives him support and makes him laugh - that is potential for anything. Issa and her indecisiveness is damn near a mirror of Molly. Neither of them know what they want or what they actually need in relationships that last. Daniel and Issa do not go well together beyond flings/FWBs, and he knows that. I felt like he was playing her on some "what if/let's try" shit just to get between her legs on a longer term basis. FBoys will show up to your job whining about being ignored too just like the genuine ones. Molly is more complicated though...A good man like Rent-A-Boo shows up and she shuns him because he confided in her about one homosexual experience, like she didn't have one either. I don't like that double standard crap. Like yeah...I would not date a bisexual man, but he said it was one time and most people experiment during their college ages. Doesn't make them outright gay/bi - Molly isn't, so why is he? But that is a whole other topic. She fucked up. I'm kind of disappointed because Jared is cute and a very likable character, and it doesn't look like we will be seeing much of him anymore. And yes both these ladies need therapy sessions. Maybe group therapy. Molly needs to call up that old friend and ask for therapy practice recommendations. Kelli is the big one. Is Natasha the bougie girl? I like Kelli a lot though she can get under your skin when she gets to talkin to much. I'm glad she was renewed for next season. I feel like the shy character could maybe balance the friendship dynamic out and represent the almost 30s that aren't as sexually active or go-getters like Kelli/Molly/etc. It could make for interesting romantic scenes (like being clueless about suitors), some comedy (the girls ragging on the shy character), and all that! Hope Issa looks into it! MelaninMonroe
