I understand that. I got the tidal trial, but I don't know if there is a way to rip it from there. Free shouldn't count as sales.

Damn right. I like Rihanna a little, and I liked the album a lot, but ANTI should not be platinum off of streaming and Samsung buying power alone. But it is what it is. Times are changing, I guess.
I didn't sign up for the TIDAL trial, I just gave them my email then downloaded the album off their servers when it was still free. They send me emails about the album and also ask me to sign up for the free trial.

I have the free trial and I use the tidal app. They don't have my cc info though. When it is released as a cd I'll buy it. |
