 This is the $100 Golden Cristal Ube Donut available from The Manila Social Club restaurant in Brooklyn, NY. Purple yams are called ube in the Philippines, so it's a donut filled with ube mousse, champagne jelly, and covered with a glaze made from Cristal champagne and 24k gold flakes. You think you poop gold after eating one? I hope not.Ya'll...for $100 this thing better keep my ass full for 2 weeks straight and I better be shitting gold nuggets to resale :arrogant: |
