For real! I don't understand how these American shows do that to him -- he's British and he's half Brazilian. Not some unicorn from a faraway land. Ask the man if he thinks his acting chops are good, if he has any movies, TV shows, or plays lined up, get him to play some games and tell corny jokes, and move along.

Not really to be honest. The strongest actors on HTGAWM are Viola obviously, Bonnie (I think she can subtly emote very well), Connor, Asher, and Michaela. But it's also due to the fact that they bounce off each other very well. Without Asher and Connor, I don't think would be as good. Alfred, he seems so one note to me. Yeah, I've kind of been feeling this way about him, especially this season now that I hate Wes. The big, teary eyes are cute, but that's literally the only emotion he does He looks confused all the time. I think they finally gave the actress who plays Bonnie Schmurda a real chance with these last two episodes, because she worked the HELL out of them scenes! So did White Jidenna/Fight Club. I was surprised to see those two could meet Viola equally, to be honest.

They need to do something more with Wes/Alfred and Michaela/Aja. I'm still salty that they pay Michaela absolute dust unless it's for the Asher relationship or if Connor needs a shoulder to cry on.

I need to finish the season. I only watched the first episode of the new season. That is the ONLY emotion in that man's repertoire. Not even sad. Just confused. I've never seen him really angry or react. I did see one of the last episodes with the Bonnie/Viola/Frank scene. WHEW child! That scene was so damn good. I always sensed the actress who played Bonnie was good, she just needed a better storyline and push. The Frank actor surprised me as well. He did great in that scene with Viola. Viola is a great actress because she elevates those around her (except for Alfred it seems).

They need to kill off Wes to be honest. He's dead weight. They better have something good in store for Aja because this is ridiculous. They've given the backstory on most if not all of the other cast members except for Aja and maybe Laurel(?). Even Laurel got a little something. Not only that, but they give Michaela scraps to work with. They've dumbed down her character to just depending on Asher/Connor and complaining. They're making her into that bitter, black woman trope that I hate.
